Other needed texts to study are Practical Fracture Treatment by Ronald McRae and the Manual of Fracture Casting and Bracing by Dr. Augusto Sarmiento. These texts are sold at Amazon.com. Dr. Sarmiento's Manual can also be ordered from ASOP at www.asop.org.

All new or uncertified members of ASOP must complete this exam and twelve (12) hours of continuing education (provided free by ASOP email) per year to remain a member.

This extensive certification exam is focused on office-based orthopedic procedures and knowledge. It contains thirty (30) sections and should only be attempted when you have a sufficient block of time to contribute to its taking.
Answer the questions to the best of your ability. If you have no idea what the answer is, choose the "not sure" answer. Please do not leave the answer blank for any of the questions.

IMPORTANT: You are allowed to exit the test and come back later to finish it. You will be given a link to resume the test if you choose that option. Make sure to complete ALL questions on the given page BEFORE leaving since you will NOT be able to return to the page you were on when you left. Make sure to write down the link shown on the page when you choose to 'Finish Later". You MUST have this link upon returning or you will have to start over.
